Whether we are treating an acute injury or managing a chronic disease such as diabetes, I believe patients should be heard and have an active role in their healthcare. I have a passion for treating athletes of all ages with acute injuries, weekend warriors that want to remain active, people with chronic diseases that want to improve their health and promotion of health and wellness. I have particular interests in concussion management, ultrasound-guided procedures and promotion of health and wellness. Personally, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two daughters, cooking, and running or hiking in the great Arizona outdoors.

I already suggested my son ask for Dr. Werk as his primary care Dr searches for a specialist for him to see. Dr. Werk is very intelligent, very kind and very caring. I believe in him so much that I think he would take care of my son just fine! As a mom you want the best for your kids of course. I dont feel anyone could do any better than Dr. Werk.
